Anand was born in Darjeeling, Northeastern part of India, and graduated from the University of North Bengal with a degree in Account. “Passion Turns to Profession” Anand was always attracted by the adventure story, well after his education he rejected his conventional carrier and started trekking and climbing. He is fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi and understands some local dialects, making him more professional and resourceful and has been guided in the Himalayas since 1998. Anand is a trained trek leader and has acquired a trekking guide license to lead groups in the Himalayas, he went through First Aid training and got vast knowledge regarding local cultures. A born teacher and storyteller, he enthusiastically shares his knowledge of cultures, flora, and fauna with people of all ages. Anand gives all his energy to the group to provide comfort and treat equally to his staff, some of his staff have been working with him for two decades, which makes his team more valuable and confident. Anand and his team have successfully summited some of the famous climbing peaks and have done some difficult passes in the Himalayas of Nepal and India, he has traveled to Europe and spent almost a decade in England.
